夾層玻璃表蓋是兩片或數(shù)片浮法玻璃中間夾以強韌PVB（乙烯聚合物丁酸鹽）膠膜，經(jīng)熱壓機壓合并盡可能地排出中間空氣，然后放入高壓蒸汽釜內(nèi)利用高溫高壓將殘余的少量空氣溶入膠膜而成。夾層玻璃安全性高，由于是中間層的膠膜堅韌且附著力強，受沖擊破損后不易被貫穿，碎片不會脫落，與角膜緊緊地粘合在一起。夾層玻璃與其他玻璃相比，具有耐震、防盜、防彈、防爆的性能。

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered.
In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB),
between its two or more layers of glass. The inside air between the glass will be discharged by the thermo compressor as more as possible.
The left air between the glass lenses will be dissolved in the film after we put the glass into the autoclave.
The interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces.
This produces a characteristic cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to compley pierce the glass.
