SMCV100B采用的直接數字射頻上變頻技術來生成頻率高達2.5GHz的輸出信號。這允許在數字域中進行I/Q調制和RF信號生成,消除了傳統模擬I/Q調制器常見的I/Q不平衡誤差和LO泄漏。由于有了新概念,信號發(fā)生器的SSB相位噪聲性能非常好。模擬混頻概念用于生成2.5GHz以上的頻率。

SMCV100B為內部基帶信號生成提供了強大的硬件。它可以在FPGA中實時生成信號,也可以使用ARB發(fā)生器直接生成用于數字通信標準的I/Q信號。
FPGA中的實時信號生成專用于廣播標準。這種技術能夠連續(xù)和長時間不間斷地生成用于解碼的不同數據內容(音頻、視頻、數據、PRBS)的信號。這樣的長序列對于測試調諧器的性能或EMC是必需的。
